Air India updates layover, allowances, and meal policies for cabin crew, effective Dec 1, ahead of Vistara merger.

Air India has updated its cabin crew policy, effective December 1, raising layover allowances and offering single rooms for crew on ultra-long haul flights. International layover allowances will change from $85-135 to $75-100 per night, and a new ₹1,000 support allowance will be introduced for domestic layovers. Meal options will also expand from one to three meals for domestic flights. These changes aim to harmonize policies ahead of the Vistara merger.
