2 women and 2 men indicted for $3.5M PPP fraud; 2 ex-deputies convicted of similar fraud.

Two women, Denise Mata and Vanessa Williams, along with Mikhail Hoalim and Daryl Knighten, have been indicted for allegedly stealing $3.5 million from the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) through fraudulent applications. Separately, former Broward deputies Tracy and Carolyn Wade were convicted of similar fraud, falsely claiming income to secure $41,666 in loans. Each could face up to 20 years in prison if convicted.
