A woman's body was found in the Mississippi River at LeClaire Park in Davenport on Thursday at 1:03 p.m. The Scott County Medical Examiner's Office indicated that the body had been in the water for a significant time. An autopsy is planned to identify the woman and ascertain the cause of death. The Davenport Police Department is conducting an investigation and urges anyone with information to come forward.
