Union Power Minister Manohar Lal urged the Andaman and Nicobar Islands administration to boost renewable energy production and reduce reliance on diesel. He highlighted the potential of wind energy and the importance of electric vehicles and charging infrastructure. Lal called for timely government dues settlements and recommended reforms under the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme to enhance efficiency and financial viability in the power sector.
