A Movember survey indicates that over a third of men in Ireland experience mental health issues, with 20% of younger men frequently feeling lonely. In the West of Ireland, more than half feel uneasy discussing mental health with friends. Movember Country Director Sarah Ouellette emphasized the challenge of encouraging men to address their mental health needs and seek medical help, linking loneliness to a reluctance to consult doctors.
