Dr. Robert R. Gilruth Terminal dedication at Duluth's Sky Harbor Airport honors key NASA engineer.

On October 24, a dedication ceremony was held for the Dr. Robert R. Gilruth Terminal at Sky Harbor Airport in Duluth, honoring the influential aerospace engineer who played a key role in NASA's manned spacecraft program. Gilruth, a Nashwauk native, served 40 years at NASA. The $2.66 million terminal features modern amenities and is designed to celebrate aviation history and inspire future generations. It opened to the public in July.
