Joshua Torres, a 26-year-old minimum-security inmate in Rhode Island, was apprehended by state police after walking away from a job assignment on October 10, 2024. He was found at a Super 8 motel in West Greenwich nearly two weeks later. Torres, serving a sentence for a gun charge and scheduled for release in March 2027, is being returned to the ACI Intake Center and may face additional charges.
