Allan Hektor Frasheri, a University of Florida senior, accepted a plea deal after spitting on a police officer during pro-Palestinian protests. He will serve 18 months probation, complete a mental health evaluation, and write an apology letter. Frasheri was expelled from UF, given a four-year suspension, and banned from campus for three years. The incident occurred amid demonstrations against Israeli actions in Gaza following the 2023 Hamas attack.
