In Saskatchewan, armed carjackers hijacked a vehicle near Prince Albert, prompting an emergency alert and shelter-in-place orders.

The Saskatchewan RCMP have issued an emergency alert following a shooting where armed suspects carjacked a driver near Prince Albert. The suspects, three or four males wearing black bandanas, are considered dangerous and were last seen driving a white 2020 Dodge Ram before possibly fleeing on foot. Residents in the Thunder Rapids area are advised to shelter in place, lock doors, and avoid picking up hitchhikers. Further updates are pending.
