2030, Dubai's aviation sector projected to contribute AED 196B to GDP, 32%, up from 27%, supporting 816K jobs.

A report by Emirates Group and Dubai Airports, conducted by Oxford Economics, reveals that Dubai's aviation sector contributed AED 137 billion (USD 37.3 billion) to the GDP in 2023, accounting for 27% of the total. This is expected to rise to AED 196 billion (USD 53.2 billion) by 2030, representing 32% of GDP. The sector currently supports 631,000 jobs, projected to increase to 816,000 by 2030, highlighting its vital role in Dubai's economic growth and tourism.
