Assam CM pledges creation of Ram-Krishna district in Jharkhand if BJP wins, focuses on NRC for infiltrators.

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, serving as the BJP's Jharkhand election co-in-charge, pledged that if the BJP wins the upcoming assembly elections, the Hussainabad sub-division in Palamu will become a full district named after Lord Ram or Krishna. He also emphasized the party's commitment to removing infiltrators, particularly through the implementation of the National Register of Citizens (NRC). Voting occurs in two phases on November 13 and 20, with results on November 23.
