A 52-year-old woman from Eden Valley was killed in a pedestrian accident on October 22 in Okotoks, where a northbound vehicle struck her and a 25-year-old woman, who sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The incident occurred near the Okotoks Badminton Centre on 15 Street, which was temporarily closed for investigation by the RCMP's collision reconstructionist. The road has since reopened. The investigation is ongoing.
