The Kubota RTV X900 he was in, driven by an 8-year-old, veered off Puukala Road, hit a rock embankment, and overturned, ejecting Beregovoy. The younger driver suffered minor injuries. This incident is under investigation and marks the 25th traffic fatality in Hawaii this year, an increase from 15 at the same time last year.
