Woman jumps in front of train, disrupts Kolkata Metro services.

A woman jumped in front of a train at Kolkata's Chandni Chowk station on Wednesday, disrupting north-south Metro services from 10:54 am until normal operations resumed at 11:50 am. Services were limited to Maidan in the south and Girish Park in the north during the incident. Despite this disruption, the 40th anniversary celebrations of Metro Railway Kolkata continued unaffected. The injured individual was taken to the hospital.
