Kazakh President announces 865 agriculture projects worth $5.3bn for boosting productivity and record grain harvest of 26.5 million tons.

Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev highlighted the agricultural sector's vital role in food security during his Republic Day speech. He announced plans for 865 projects, investing 2.6 trillion tenge ($5.3 billion), to enhance productivity. Kazakhstan achieved a record grain harvest of 26.5 million tons this year and aims to export nearly 12 million tons. The government has increased supportive financing to 580 billion tenge (US$1.2 billion) to further strengthen the industry.
