3.1% increase in Sept. South Korean population mobility, highest in 3 years, coincides with housing transaction surge.

In September, South Korea saw a 3.1% increase in population mobility, with 463,000 residents relocating, the highest for September in three years, according to Statistics Korea. The mobility rate rose to 11.1%. This uptick coincided with a 29.3% rise in housing transactions in July and August. The central bank's recent interest rate cut aims to bolster the real estate market, which had faced challenges earlier this year.
