2022 Gender Pay Gap in Ireland revealed with women earning 9.3% less per hour than men.

The Central Statistics Office (CSO) of Ireland reports that women comprise just 25% of the top 1% earners, with the construction sector at 7% and human health at 35%. The 2022 Gender Pay Gap was 9.3%, with men earning €20.11 and women €19.00 per hour. As of 2024, women represent 27% of Irish Government ministers and 43% of European Parliament members. From 2016 to 2022, remote work among women surged by 306%, compared to 114% for men.
