Correctional Deputy Kevina Maxie arrested for smuggling drugs into Caddo Correctional Facility, faces malfeasance and contraband charges.

Caddo Parish Correctional Deputy Kevina Maxie has been arrested for allegedly smuggling drug paraphernalia into the Caddo Correctional Facility and selling it to inmates. Employed since March 2024, she was detained while working overtime on her day off. Maxie faces charges of malfeasance in office and transporting contraband to or from a penal institution, and has been booked into the Caddo Correctional Center.
