Berry Global and Glatfelter plan to spin off their nonwovens business, forming Magnera Corporation with 90% Berry shareholder ownership.

Berry Global Group and Glatfelter Corporation will spin off Berry's Health, Hygiene, and Specialties Global Nonwovens and Films business, with a record date of November 1, 2024. The merger is anticipated to conclude on November 4, 2024, pending certain conditions. After the merger, Berry shareholders will own about 90% of the new entity, renamed Magnera Corporation, while Glatfelter shareholders will hold approximately 10%.
