Sarah Pavan, a two-time Olympic beach volleyball player from Canada, has retired after a 25-year career. She achieved significant milestones, including winning a world beach title in 2019 and finishing fifth in both the 2016 Rio and 2021 Tokyo Olympics. Pavan, 38, started her volleyball journey at age 14 and became a four-time first-team All-American at the University of Nebraska before shifting to beach volleyball in 2013.
