Ubisoft Montpellier, the studio behind "Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown," has reportedly disbanded following the game's underwhelming sales, which totaled 300,000 units in the first two weeks. Despite positive reviews, the studio's proposals for a sequel and expansions were rejected by Ubisoft, which opted to reallocate resources to more commercially viable projects. The disbanded team will now contribute to other Ubisoft initiatives.
