Sunda Energy delays Chuditch-2 well drilling to Q2 2025 due to rig delays, finalizing contracts and discussing funding with Pacific LNG.

Sunda Energy has postponed the drilling of the Chuditch-2 appraisal well off Timor-Leste to Q2 2025 due to delays with other operators using the same rig. The company is finalizing contracts for the rig and essential equipment. Additionally, Sunda is in advanced discussions with Pacific LNG for funding the Chuditch PSC project, which will support appraisal drilling and future development. The company also expects to receive license awards in the Philippines by Q4 2024.
