The trial of Pritam Singh, chief of Singapore's Workers' Party, was postponed to October 23 due to his lead lawyer, Andre Jumabhoy, falling ill. Jumabhoy received a medical certificate stating he is unfit for court for two days. His colleague, Aristotle Emmanuel Eng, informed the court, and the deputy attorney-general expressed wishes for Jumabhoy's quick recovery.
