New Zealand cricket captain Kane Williamson will miss the second Test against India due to ongoing rehabilitation for a groin strain sustained during the series against Sri Lanka. He was also absent in New Zealand's recent victory over India. Head coach Gary Stead is optimistic about Williamson's recovery and hopes he will be available for the third Test starting November 1 in Mumbai.
