2 new CNG fueling stations open in Calgary and Grande Prairie, Alberta, forming the first commercial-grade CNG network in Western Canada.

Two new compressed natural gas (CNG) fueling stations have opened in Calgary and Grande Prairie, Alberta, aimed at helping heavy-haul trucks shift from diesel to cleaner fuel. These stations complement an existing station in Edmonton, forming the first commercial-grade CNG network in Western Canada. Tourmaline Oil Corp. and Clean Energy Fuels Corp. plan to establish up to 20 stations, potentially fueling 3,000 natural gas-powered trucks daily and reducing CO2 emissions by 20%.
