Three individuals from Duncan, British Columbia, face first-degree murder charges related to the overdose death of a Nanaimo woman. The Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit launched an investigation in August 2023 after receiving suspicious information about the death. The suspects, two men and one woman aged 41 to 59, have also been charged with counselling to commit murder. Two are in custody, while the third is still at large.
