3 house fires in Chattanooga over 24 hours; no injuries, cause under investigation.

On Monday morning, firefighters from the Chattanooga Fire Department responded to a house fire on Jackson Street, marking the city's third fire in 24 hours. They arrived at 7:22 a.m. and extinguished the fire shortly thereafter, with no injuries reported. The cause is under investigation. The previous night, two other house fires displaced families, one started by a homeless person, who sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
