Flint lifeboat crew rescued stranded fisherman and yacht with engine failure in North Wales.
On October 20, Storm Ashley impacted North Wales, prompting the Flint lifeboat crew to conduct two rescues. They first saved a fisherman stranded by rising tides at Connah's Quay. Later, they responded to a Mayday call from a yacht with engine failure, rescuing two individuals. Both incidents highlighted the importance of using communication devices, as praised by Bill Dewsbury of Flint RNLI. The rescued individuals were assessed by the coastguard.
