Janusz Olejniczak, a 72-year-old Polish pianist known for his piano contributions in the Oscar-winning film "The Pianist" (2002), has died from a heart attack. Celebrated for his sensitivity in interpreting Frederic Chopin's music, Olejniczak gained international fame after winning the 8th International Frederic Chopin Piano Competition in 1970. He also performed contemporary works and portrayed Chopin in the film "The Blue Note."
