Vice President Bawumia inaugurated Phase II of the Tsatsadu micro-hydropower plant, increasing capacity and announcing plans for solar power integration to reduce electricity costs.

Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia of Ghana inaugurated Phase II of the Tsatsadu micro-hydropower plant, adding 75 kilowatts to its existing capacity. The project, led by the Bui Power Authority, aims to diversify Ghana's energy sources and reduce reliance on oil and gas. Additionally, Bawumia announced plans to incorporate 2,000 megawatts of solar power into the energy mix, aiming for a 50% reduction in electricity costs. He also provided logistics support to Hohoe EP Senior High School.
