Sudan and South Sudan's leaders discussed resuming oil exports through Sudan and collaborating on oil production and flow.

Sudan's Transitional Sovereignty Council President, General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, met with South Sudan's Security Advisor, Tut Galwak, to discuss the resumption of South Sudan's oil exports through Sudan. Both nations aim to resolve transportation issues that halted exports since March. They agreed to enhance cooperation and hold a meeting between their energy ministries to facilitate increased oil production and flow via the Port of Bashayer, essential for both economies.
