The Regina Thunder captured the Prairie Football Conference championship, defeating the Saskatoon Hilltops 24-19, ending the Hilltops' undefeated season. Coach Scott MacAulay praised the team's hard work and adjustments made after a previous loss. Running backs Sadik Sadik and Rylan Leichert were pivotal, combining for 321 yards. The Thunder will now host the CJFL semifinal next Sunday at Libel Field, aiming for a spot in the Canadian Bowl.
