40MW solar farm in Strensham near M5 aims to power 12,000 homes, expanding existing solar panels.

A proposed 40MW solar farm in Strensham, near the M5 motorway, aims to power 12,000 homes. The project will utilize fields adjacent to existing solar panels, with access from A4104 and A4101. It includes three-meter-tall solar panels on metal frames and will require buildings for inverters, transformers, and communication equipment. Energy generated will connect to the grid via the nearby 66kV Strensham Solar Farm substation.
