The Coal Ministry of India announced the results of the 10th round of commercial coal mines' auction, receiving 43 bids for 16 out of 61 mines offered. Notably, the Ulia Gamhardih mine in Chhattisgarh garnered 11 bids. This round saw participation from 31 companies, including new entrants. The ministry aims to raise ₹55,000 crore this financial year, mainly through these auctions. The bidding process will undergo technical evaluation before proceeding to the electronic auction.
