Chris Dinan has been appointed as the new executive producer of ABC News' "World News Tonight," succeeding Almin Karamehmedovic, who was promoted to president of ABC News. Dinan has nearly 13 years of experience at ABC, having previously served as the senior broadcast producer. The program remains the top-rated evening newscast, competing against NBC and CBS. Senior producers Enjoli Francis, Jennifer Metz, and Brian Reiferson will also expand their roles in live broadcasts.
