23-year-old and 32-year-old shot to death in South Chicago over the weekend; no arrests.

Two fatal shootings occurred in South Chicago over the weekend. A 23-year-old man was shot early Sunday on S. Saginaw Avenue and later died at the University of Chicago Hospital; no arrests have been made. On Saturday, 32-year-old Chevelle Carter was shot multiple times in the Oakland neighborhood and succumbed to his injuries after being transported to the hospital. Witnesses reported his assailants fled in a white vehicle. Investigations are ongoing.
