Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce establishes a representative office in Turkey to strengthen trade ties.

The Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce will establish a representative office in Turkey to boost trade and economic ties. This decision follows a meeting between Chairman Davron Vakhobov and Rifat Hisarcıklıoglu of Turkey's Union of Chambers. They discussed Uzbekistan's involvement in international commerce and potential joint business initiatives. Despite a 10.5% drop in trade turnover to $1.9 billion from January to August 2024, Turkey remains one of Uzbekistan's top five trading partners.
