Small campfire causes damage to Brockville Railway Tunnel south entrance on Saturday; no injuries, accidental, during Farmers' Market.

A small fire from a makeshift campfire damaged the wooden doors at the south entrance of the Brockville Railway Tunnel on Saturday morning. A citizen extinguished the flames before firefighters arrived, with no injuries reported. While the tunnel itself was not significantly damaged, City Hall, located beneath it, required ventilation as a precaution. The Brockville Police confirmed the fire appears to be accidental, occurring during the busy Farmers' Market.
