Police in Northern Ireland have begun a 12-month pilot program using DrugWipes, a roadside testing kit that detects cannabis and cocaine use in addition to alcohol testing. Recently, two men were arrested in Enniskillen and Derry for drug-related driving offenses after failing the tests. Police Superintendent William Calderwood emphasized the importance of these tests in enhancing road safety and addressing the dangers of drug-impaired driving.
