McLaren updates rear wings due to flexing issue at Azerbaijan GP, unrelated to FIA mandate.
McLaren is updating its entire range of rear wings after concerns arose from the 'mini-DRS' issue at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, where the wing was seen flexing. Although the wings passed FIA static load tests, the team is implementing modifications to prevent similar flexing in the future, including changes to the upper element and slot gap. McLaren maintains that the FIA did not mandate these changes, but discussions continue as the governing body reviews wing flexing regulations.
