This surge, fueled by a thriving tourism sector during major holidays, coincided with the operation of an average of 10,792 trains daily, up 9.8%. Significant growth was seen in cross-border services, including a 43.1% rise in trips on the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong high-speed railway.
