Former Metropolitan Police officer David Carrick, 49, appeared in court charged with multiple sex offenses, including two counts of rape, one count of sexual assault, and a count of coercive behavior against a woman from 2014 to 2019. He also faces five counts of indecent assault on a girl under 14 from 1989 to 1990. Carrick was remanded in custody and is set to appear at the Old Bailey on November 14.
