Intel's Arrow Lake desktop CPUs have been unveiled, showcasing a new tiled architecture with dedicated tiles for computing, graphics, I/O, and the SoC. This design enables direct-die cooling, although new tools may be needed for heat spreader removal. The delidded Core Ultra 200S chip, shared by a Twitch streamer, highlights Intel's first use of chiplet technology in desktop CPUs. The series launches on October 24, featuring up to 24 cores in overclockable models.
