HPCL nears a 15-year, 12-cargo-annually LNG agreement for its Chhara terminal in Gujarat, starting in 2027.

Hindustan Petroleum Corp. Ltd. (HPCL) is nearing a long-term LNG agreement for its Chhara terminal in Gujarat, aiming for 12 cargoes annually over 15 years starting in 2027. This would make HPCL the last of India's three major downstream oil marketers to secure a long-term LNG contract. The new 5 million metric tons/year terminal is set to launch by late 2026 or early 2027, supporting HPCL's refineries and a new project in Rajasthan.
