Darrel President Sr., the former executive director of the Greenbrier Resource Community Development Center in South Carolina, was arrested for misappropriating over $44,000 from the nonprofit's account. The funds, part of $100,000 in state grants for a community center, were intended for public use. President, who initially agreed to repay the money, faces charges of breach of trust with fraudulent intent and was booked into the Fairfield County Detention Center.
