Ajaz Ahmed, the founder and CEO of AKQA, has resigned after 30 years at the helm of the digital agency he established in 1994. WPP, which acquired AKQA in 2012, confirmed his departure and is in search of a successor. In the interim, the existing leadership will manage operations, with WPP Chief Technology Officer Stephan Pretorius serving as interim chair. Under Ahmed's leadership, AKQA garnered numerous accolades for its innovative services.
