Saudi Arabia's Ibex Reserve has become the first protected area in the Kingdom to join the International Union for Conservation of Nature's Green List, which includes fewer than 80 reserves globally. Established in 1988 to protect the threatened ibex, the reserve has successfully rebounded its population through effective management by the National Center for Wildlife. This recognition aligns with Saudi Arabia's commitment to global biodiversity goals.
