Qatar pledges 25% GHG reduction by 2030 and 10 million tree planting as part of Green Middle East Initiative.

Qatar's Environment Minister, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Subaie, led Qatar's delegation at the Green Middle East Initiative meeting in Jeddah. He reaffirmed Qatar's commitment to reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 25% by 2030 and planting 10 million trees to enhance biodiversity. The initiative, which aims to combat climate change by restoring 200 million hectares of land and planting 50 billion trees, involves regional and international collaboration.
