Developed by WHO, the RTS,S/AS01 vaccine will be introduced after Nigeria joins Ghana and Kenya in its use. With malaria impacting 97% of its population, the government plans targeted distribution to high-risk areas. Additionally, Nigeria has received one million doses of the R21/Matrix-M vaccine, enhancing its malaria control efforts.
