15-year-old dancer Kian Newcombe, with a broken foot, performs in INYB's 30th-anniversary "The Nutcracker" from Dec 6-8.

Kian Newcombe, a 15-year-old dancer from Mullingar, will perform in the Irish National Youth Ballet's 30th-anniversary production of "The Nutcracker" from December 6-8 at the Samuel Beckett Theatre. Despite a broken foot, he continues to attend rehearsals and learn choreography. The INYB, supported by the Arts Council, offers aspiring dancers training opportunities and pathways to professional careers in ballet.
